City of Titonka - Celebrations/Events

The Titonka Volunteer Firemen hold their annual Chicken BBQ the third Saturday in June. The BBQ is a fund raiser for the fire department. The menu includes BBQ Chicken halves, baked beans, potato salad, bun, ice cream and beverage. Tickets are available a the door. They also have a drawing for door prizes.

Indian Day

Indian Day is held the third Saturday in July. Events include a kiddie parade, parade, community meal, games and Bill Riley Talent show.

Christmas in Titonka

Christmas in Titonka is held the first Saturday in December. Events include a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, home-based business/crafters showcase, entertainment, soup supper, specials at the Red Dog and Racer's Ole #3 and prize drawings.

Valentine Pie Day

Valentine Pie Day is sponsored by the Titonka Community Club. It is held at the Titonka Community Center on or close to Valentine's Day. Locally made homemade pies and coffee are served.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Titonka Lions Club sponsors and Easter Egg Hunt for children on the Saturday before Easer. It is held in Gruis Park.

City Wide Garage Sales

Every June City Wide Garage Sales are held in Titonka. Maps are available.
