Community Service
Titonka has a wide range of community services available.
Buffalo Creek Activity Center
The Buffalo Creek Activity Center located at 543 Dieckman St NE Community Room and Gym are available for rental. The Community Room may be rented for a full day or a partial day. The gym is available for a full day rental only.
- Gym rental – $275/day
- Tarping required for tables/chairs – $100
- Community Room rental is $110/day or $60/half day

Electric Utilities
Residents within the Titonka City Limits are served by Alliant Energy; they also provide service to some of the rural residents.
Titonka area rural residents are served by either Heartland Power Cooperative or Midland Power Cooperative.
Titonka-Burt Communications (TBC)
Titonka-Burt Communications (TBC) provides fiber internet, digital tv, and telephone service.

Titonka Public Library
In addition to a wide variety of books, periodicals and audio-visual materials, the Titonka Public Library has computers available for public use. They also have programs for early out school days, story hour and a summer reading program. Check the calendar of events for activities.

First Class mail is placed in the post office boxes by 10:45 a.m.
Monday – Friday, outgoing mail is collected from the drop box inside the post office and from the blue drop box outside the post office at 12:45 p.m. and will go out that day. Mail deposited in the drop box inside the post office after 12:45 p.m. will not go out until the next day. Outgoing mail is picked up from the blue drop box outside the post office again at 3:30 p.m. and will go out that day.
On Saturday, outgoing mail is collected from the drop box inside the post office and from the blue drop box outside the post office at 9:30 a.m. and will go out that day. Mail deposited in the drop box inside the post office after 9:30 a.m. will not go out until Monday. Outgoing mail is picked up fro the blue drop box outside the post office again at 3:30 p.m. and will go out that day.
The post office has Ready Post and Priority Mail supplies available.

Titonka Ambulance
The Titonka Ambulance Service is owned by the City of Titonka and made up of volunteers from the community. They are paged for approximately 50 calls per year. It takes six months to complete the EMT course. EMT classes are available in our area. To volunteer as a driver you will need to complete CPR training and a driver’s training. You must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
The crew currently consists of nine EMTs, two RNs, two emergency responders and seven drivers.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a program that is offered by the Titonka Care Center to residents that live within Titonka city limits only. The meal is served from their kitchen Mondays through Fridays at noon only. No meals are delivered on holidays, snow days or weekends. Volunteers pick up the meals at 11:45 a.m.
There is no obligation to keep the service for a specified period of time. The service is very flexible allowing you to begin or stop the service as needed. The cost is $4.00 per meal and is billed directly to the customer at the end of the month.

Titonka Fire Department
The Titonka Fire Department is all volunteer twenty-five member crew with Fire Fighter One training. They participate in additional trainings such as grain bin rescue, vehicle extraction and structural firefighting. The department is equipped with two pumper trucks, two water trucks, a grass rig, and various rescue equipment. They average fifteen calls per year.

The Titonka Volunteer Firemen hold their annual BBQ the third Saturday in June. The BBQ is a fund raiser for the fire department. The menu includes Pulled Pork, baked beans, potato salad, bun, ice cream and a beverage. Tickets are available at the door. They also have a drawing for door prizes. Enjoy a delicious meal and support our local fire department!
