Kossuth County has discontinued use of “CODE RED” program which was a telephone notification system for use in emergency situations to notify numerous persons of impending emergencies such as floods, evacuations due to chemical spills, etc.effetive May, 1, 2016. Alert Iowa has replaced the CODE RED program.
